Late last year the fashion world lost a good soul.
I’ll never forget seeing Bill Evan’s designs for the first time.
Tweeds mixed with neon trims, newsboy caps and incredible ties… I was mesmerized.
One of my favorites memories is sitting around before a show began and the the man himself came up to me, sat down next to me and enthralled me with stories.
He loved fabrics. And art. PBS and especially cats.
His slicked back hair made his oversized round spectacles pop.
He was often seen in heavy tweed jackets with fun suspenders underneath.
The world lost an amazing man.
Charlotte Seen paid tribute to him last week in the runway of Charlotte Fashion Week.

Evans especially loved dressing women in classic menswear.

Some of his closest friends donned his designs one final time that night.

Several models even wore Bills signature round framed glasses.
How do you say good bye to someone that touched your life the way he did?
Charlotte Seen gave us that opportunity with one last chance to admire his Quirky Classic designs.
Goodbye old friend.
