Last week I was invited to a Fall Preview Event with Saint & Society

The dress code: Overdressed in denim.

I already knew I’d be carrying my denim rhinestone Aldo bag.

I tied my old denim button up around my waist.

I had originally planned to wear jeans, but at the last minute I pulled out my satin feather trimmed skirt from Re Clectic.

I added my gold kitten heals from Walmart

And of course my two tone link earring from Saint & Society.

I finished the look with my vintage interlocked swan brooch from Hammered Daisy

The blue stones in their eyes compliment the denim.

I think I pulled the look off. Do you agree?

Not really. But since I have to deal with the heat I might as well wear some bright, fun colors!

The outfit idea started with my new Vintage looking kisslock tiger bag from Nina’s Boutique

The orange and pink stripes were my inspiration.

I paired a pink tank top with this fun citrus orange wrap skirt I’ve had for years and never worn.

I completed the look with my Viktor & Rolf scarf.

The colors matched perfectly and I draped it over one shoulder for a little razzle dazzle.

I cannot wait for cooler weather and fall fashion. But I guess I can enjoy a few days in the sun with these citrus colors.

I wasn’t sure if it would work until I saw the end result.

I’ve had this Zara top/dress for awhile and never pulled it out of my closet.

I’m LOVING these Jessica Simpson Cropped Patchwork Barrel Jeans from Walmart!

I added my comfy Adidas sneakers from Costco, my Marc Jacobs sunnies and my Medium Marc Jacobs Scene Bag to complete the look.

I think I pulled it off! What do you think?
