Fall is my favorite season. And my favorite fashions.

Here’s a few of my fall looks this year so far.

I paired a basic white button down with jeans, leopard Michael Kors loafers with a chocolate suede fringed bag from Urban Outfitters.

I added an Anthropologie scarf and my Tennessee inspired Lafufu.

This fun sweater from It’s Fashion Metro is inspired by Ralph Lauren.

I added barrel jeans also from It’s Fashion, my red Gucci bag and red mesh ballet flats from TikTok shop.

I broke out my favorite comfy start sweater from Girl Tribe, distressed jeans, Walmart booties, Versace aviators and my Ralph Lauren bag.

I tied an Anthropologie scarf to the bag for accent.

I made this old black sweater look chic again. Inspired it with barrel jeans, snake print sling back flats, and a vintage Gucci Jackie bag.

I added some lux accessories to complete the look.

I love, love, LOVE this look. I paired this pleated, high-low hem top from A-part[meant] Boutique with jeans, Michael Kors boots, YSL bag, Versace shades and my Chanel inspired Yochi New York necklace from Nina’s Boutique.

I had purchased this blazer straight off the runway of Charlotte Fashion Week from designer Tyler by Tyler. Her artwork on a repurposed blazer intrigued me

I added a tartan skirt and men’s tie from Amazon. Again with the red Gucci Marmont bag, red sock booties, sparkly thrifted top, Versace shades and completed my look with a Vivienne Westwood pearl orb choker.

I’m having a blast with fashion this season!

Recently I attended a beauty event at Chanel Beauty!

We nibbled on macarons and sipped champagne.

We tested several fragrances.

And the skincare!

How colorful are these lip products? So many colors.

They also have fun accessories.

Fun and funky sunglasses and frames.

They also have small leather goods.

How lux are these makeup bags??

We went home with some Chanel goodies.

I was so excited to open my gifts!

This week the world was watching the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

But last month, Charlotte had their own Angels walking the runway.

Charlotte Seen featured Charlotte Angel Wings Decor during Charlotte Fashion Week.

The Angel behind the designs Olga, is originally from Ukraine. She moved to the U.S. in 2016.

She used to run a modeling school for kids and teenagers. 

“Ever since I was little, I dreamed of becoming a model.” she told me.

“I used to watch Victoria’s Secret shows and play with dolls, pretending to be in a modeling agency.”

“Fashion has always been a big part of my life. My mom enrolled me in a modeling school, which I graduated from, and soon after I started shooting for local ads in Ukraine.”

During the pandemic she started making Angel Wings just for fun.

Producer Rita Miles later put her designs on the runway.

I’d like to think my guardian angels look this elegant.

South Park Mall recently welcomed sustainable fashion brand Reformation.

Reformation was created in 2009 by retailoring vintage clothing in the back of their first store in Los Angeles and quickly expanded into making their own clothing with a mission of bringing sustainable fashion to everyone.

Beautiful, muted shades of fall lined each wall.

Lots of jewel tones, browns, checks and polka dots.

Let’s not forget the dreamy accessories.

Choose your items from the screen and they will bring them to your climate controlled fitting room for you!

Stop in and start putting together your fall capsule wardrobe and know you’re doing good things for your closet and your environment!

Designer April Via brought fantasy to life last week on the runway at mCharlotte Seen Fashion Week.

From enchanted huntress…

To Gossamer pink clouds.

Her use of texture created a diverse collection.

Sheerness of fabrics mixed with satin, leather and yes, feathers.

Tassels add and an edginess to a Pretty In Pink 80s era prom dress.

This look was my favorite! Talk about textures!

You can see the designers creative range in this piece.

We’ve got sequins, leather, lace and fur!

Add all these components and some french script and it makes for one heck of an outfit.

Thank you Charlotte Seen for bringing such talent to the runway.

Thank you Vixxen for proving formidable females can be fashionable.

This week I had such a fun, interactive experience.

INITIO fragrance Rep Johan Flecha was at Dillards at Southpark Mall for an informative meet and greet.

We started by reading my aura.

The results determined which fragrance would match up with me.

I never told him what type of fragrances and colors I prefer.

The app NAILED IT!!

My color chart was on point.

Johan then brought out the fragrances that I matched with.

Each one was something I would have chosen for myself!

How gorgeous are these bottles??

And the fun names!!

If you know me, you know I love a play on words.

Absolute Aphrodisiac, High Frequency, Narcotic Delight, Oud for Greatness, Power Self and Side Effect are just a few examples.

Wake Coffee was on hand for Coffee and Mocktails for the event.

They launched their Gilmore Girls themed menu just in time for Fall and I cannot resist it!

Last week I had the Sookie’s Oatmeal Cookie.

This week, a cream cheese filled croissant topped with everything bagel seasoning and and iced Al’s Pancake World, a maple pecan latte topped with maple cold foam.

I decided to check out the Gilmore Girls gift section as well.

What a perfect gift for your GG loving friend. Or yourself!!!

Themed candles and matchsticks invoke Autumn, no matter the temperature.

This week I enjoyed my treats on the beautiful patio.

I rewatch Gilmore Girls every Fall and I’m always down for Coffee, Coffee, Coffee!

Head down to quaint, historic Monroe and check it out.

ArtPop Street Gallery is a staple in the Charlotte art community.

It was founded in 2014 by Wendy Hickey.

ArtPop transforms everyday places and creates immersive experiences, amplifying the region’s creative spirit.

One of their biggest events of the year is always their Upcycled Fashion Show.

Designers take what used to be art displayed on billboards and create elaborate fashion pieces.

Spoken word artist Dasia Hood was the Emcee and did a wonderful job of describing each piece of art and design.

Designer Brandon Hilton modeled his own creation by artist Margaret Fleeman. He took inspiration from Alexander McQueen, who we both share a love of.

Terrell Milton Jr. created this funky pants and jacket combo from a Melissa D. Johnston piece.

Barbara Curry’s garden piece was transformed beautifully by Hope Gottsching.

Designer Shekinah Williams created a truly wearable piece from artist Natalie Daratony.

One of my longtime favorite upcycled designers Darrell Anderson turned this beautiful floral piece from Ann J. Travis into this impressive multi piece ensemble. This look truly shows his incredible talent.

After all the colorful pieces, I couldn’t imagine what Sarah Grace Simas would create from this artwork by Krystallin Loudermilk.

I was blown away by what would be one of my favorite pieces from the night.

Alexander Lieberman created a kaleidoscope look with this billboard by artist Claire Keister.

Brehon Williams transformed the simplicity of this elegant rendition by art student Elsie Ebrahimi into a statement! He also kept the piece on theme.

Another long time favorite designer of mine, Luko Marion, did not disappoint with his creation made from the work of artist Aba Hutchiso.

Marion is known for his use of black and metal. He can create a texture like no other.

Artist Janet Croog and designer Jennifer Gilomen brought out the eye of the tiger with this look.

Designer Rachel Malasky turned this jewel toned masterpiece into a floral beauty.

Designer Jamie Lykes II took inspiration from church stained glass windows for this look by artist Lori Schember.

His vision was perfection. I first saw his work during a fashion presentation at Charlotte Shout and I’ve followed his career since.

The incredibly talented Menia Paige brought us a fun, colorful, streetwear look made from this gorgeous art piece by Malaysha Belton. The texture she created was fabulous.

Anise Augustin really stepped it up a notch with this adaptation from artist Lily Roman.

We were encouraged to use our flash while taking pics, resulting in an out of this world look!

The show was closed out by the amazing Will White Jr.

He presented a look, made for a queen.

Artist Joann C. McDaniel created a work of art and her canvas became this beautiful train attached by the designer himself.

This was such a moving show. Seeing the beautiful pieces I’ve admired on signs all over the city turn into fashion.

There was so much talent at this show. From the artist to the designer, stylists and models.

The fashion world suffered a huge loss this week with the passing of Giorgio Armani.

Armani brought power suits into the American fashion realm in the 1980s and has dressed many A Listers on the red carpet.

His mother made most of the families clothes when he was growing up,

Still, he was the envy of his classmates.

He looked wealthy even though his family was poor.

After leaving the army, he found work as a window dresser at the famous Milanese department store, La Rinascente, and was eventually hired in the menswear department as a sales associate.

He trained under Nino Cerruti as a menswear designer. In 1975, along with his friend and business partner Sergio Galeotti, Armani launched his namesake menswear and womenswear line.

Richard Gere sported an array of soft gray Armani suits in the movie American Gigolo in 1980.

Ten years later, Julia Roberts accepted her Golden Globes award in a charcoal two-piece of his design.

Her iconic outfit popularized androgynous dressing for women everywhere. Armani has said of his approach: “I was the first to soften the image of men and harden the image of women. I dressed men in women’s fabrics, and stole from men what women wanted and needed—the power suit.”

In 2005 armani added couture to his collections.

Up until his death at age 91 this week, he remained sole shareholder of the Armani company.

He brought tailoring and elevating red carpet looks for men and women alike 

As if I needed another reason to love Vivienne Westwood.

Westwood’s FW25 collection brings us back to the late 90’s when Clueless brought us Cher Horowitz and her famous black and yellow checkered outfit.

Westwood was always a fan of tartan plaids.

We can’t look at this particular color combo without thinking of Clueless.

Andreas Kronthaler, Vivienne Westwood’s husband and creative partner, is the designer for the Vivienne Westwood brand now, continuing her legacy after her passing. He was also her design partner for many years.

You can see how in tuned they were. He has woven his love for her in every piece.
