This pandemic has everyone confused about what day it is. But Mother Nature seems to be confused about the season.

It’s the day before Easter and it’s COLD!! My grandparents called it ‘Dogwood Winter’ because we always have a cold snap when the dogwoods bloom.

I recently hosted an event at Kendra Scott to benefit a Non Profit I work with.

It was surreal. Because I had come full circle.

My very first Blog, in October 2015, was about a Kendra Scott Event I had attended.

It was a Color Bar Party hosted by fellow blogger, Jen Grano, who had helped me get my own blog going.

A lot has changed with Kendra Scott since my last blog. They’ve introduced some home decor and even added fine jewelry.

But they still have their everyday favorites, with new designs coming out every season.

We sipped, we shopped, and supported a great cause!

I own this bag in gold. It’s roomier than it appears and can be worn so many ways. This color will be next on my list.

They say every cloud has a silver lining. That means we should keep hope alive and look for the positive things around us.

Fashion has always been my escape from reality so I figured I can’t be the only one to feel that way. So I decided to keep posting. Someone out there may need it.

I’m attracted to bright shiny objects, much like my spirit animal, the Magpie.

So this version caught my eye and I decided to build on it.

Another favorite Michael Kors style, the Keke Pump, adds a ladylike elegance while tying in the pop of silver with the trim.

This too shall pass. And I hope everyone comes out of it healthy and fashionable.

I made a beeline toward this ’90s style hooded windbreaker. Lightweight and stylish, it’s perfect for Spring and can transition nicely for those cooler Summer nights.

This bag is so trendy and versatile. Carry it by the handle, over your shoulder or crossbody.

I tied in the tan color from the bag with the Granger trek sneaker that’s made appearances in previous blogs. This shoe comes in several colors and adds a bit of ‘oomph’ with its platform sole and gold hardware.
